STATEMENT OF RATIONALE FOR JUDGMENT OF COMPLIANCE
Southwest Texas Junior College has been in continuous operation and has had students enrolled in degree programs since its inception in 1946. Degree programs include the Associate of Arts (AA), the Associate of Science (AS), the Associate of Arts in Teaching (AAT) and the Associate of Applied Science (AAS). Fall 2014 enrollment was 5572. That enrollment figure and SWTJC degree programs are validated by the College’s Quick Facts 2014, prepared by the Office of Institutional Effectiveness.
